Myers Floors & Interiors supports Littlestown student activities, Rotary, Senior Center, American Legion and other groups through monetary contributions, merchandise donations or other means.
We support the spay/neuter programs of local animal welfare organizations working to humanely end pet overpopulation in our area. Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) is a coalition of nearly 50 rescues, shelters and other animal welfare organizations working cooperatively to bring an end to euthanasia as a means of reducing the homeless animal population. CPAA holds adoptathons, low-cost vaccine, microchip and spay/neuter clinics, and the annual Woofstock event. CPAA also sponsors The HOPE (Hounds of Prison Education) Program, which pairs carefully screened inmates at the State Correctional Institute at Camp Hill with needy dogs from CPAA member rescues for a 6-12 week period to provide the dogs with basic obedience training, socialization, behavior modification and one-on-one attention. PAWS is a no-kill animal rescue and spay/neuter group dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals through spaying and neutering, pet fostering and adoption, and educational efforts. PAWS operates a multi-county trap-neuter-return (TNR) program for homeless cats and a low-cost spay/neuter program for pet cats and dogs through a network of veterinarians. It also has a foster-home-based program for rescue and adoption of stray, abused, abandoned and otherwise unwanted animals. Kitz & Katz Animal Foundation is a local all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the cat overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering strays, ferals and pets in the Littlestown/Hanover area. They offer discount spay/neuter certificates good at local veterinary hospitals and low-cost spay/neuter clinics. Adams County Prevent A Litter Society offers discount certificates for spay/neuter surgeries through participating veterinarians and also holds low-cost vaccine clinics.
Myers Floors & Interiors donates its overstocks and discontinued products to Re-Store-York.
